Process Safety – a Meeting of Minds
As part of efforts to support companies in driving continuous improvement in process safety, Cefic and the European Process Safety Centre (EPSC) are hosting an international conference on Process Safety Performance Indicators on January 31/February 1 in Brussels.
Indicators help high-hazards operators to stay in control of their risks. And for events with low probability but high consequences, this means monitoring not only actual losses of containment (lagging indicators), but also activities essential to asset integrity (leading indicators). This conference will share learnings from several industry speakers about the development and implementation of process safety performance indicators and the journey to zero losses, and builds upon Cefic Guidance on Process Safety Performance Indicators launched in 2011.
